Herman & Associates has been providing comprehensive psychological, psychoeducational, and focused academic assessments in Southern California since 1988. We have a highly experienced multidisciplinary team of professionals to assist you with your assessment needs.
Dr. Herman has over 30 years of clinical experience. His background as a college professor, researcher, clinician, expert witness, and clinical supervisor is both diverse and extensive. He is licensed by the State of California as both a Psychologist (#PSY10916) and Marriage and Family Therapist (#MN244662).
Herman & Associates provides comprehensive evaluations for individuals with ADHD, learning disabilities, or other challenges interfering with optimal performance. Our evaluations are specifically designed to identify underlying issues and may qualify the individual for testing accommodations such as extended time, testing in a less distracting environment, etc. Our reputation is built on offering top diagnostic services in a warm,friendly, and private setting.
Our evaluations meet or exceed the "best practice" criteria for documenting learning disabilities, attention disorders, and other issues impacting standardized testing (established by the Association on Higher Education and Disability and Educational Testing Service). Assessment results are also helpful for diagnosis of ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Asperger's Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, and clinical issues. We also complete Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE), independent reviews and second options of school district's evaluations, attend IEP meetings and provide expert witness testimony at due process hearings.
